希腊牛至 学名 Origanum vulgare hirtum
别名披萨草，花薄荷,奥勒岗

知道奧勒崗這個名稱的人可能不多，但若說披薩草或牛至，也許很多人便聽說了，其實奧勒崗與牛至是同一種香草植物，擁有略帶苦味的芳香味；希臘人命名「Oregano」是山中的喜稅之意，同時以奧勒崗作為解毒靈藥。
在中古世紀，奧勒崗除調味外，還用於發汗、保溫、緩和腹痛，治療傷風、腸胃不適、消化不良、支氣管炎、暈車、失眠等症狀
在植物分类中、没有西班牙牛至，目前种植的牛至90%都是Origanum vulgare hirtum这个品种也可称为GREEK OREGANO，中文译名∶希腊牛至。
