麒麟掌
2004.8.13从山东生家里切下一块麒麟掌的根。19日回杭后种到花盆里，给他留了影。切下它的时候，母与子都流了不少“泪”，白色的，有点粘。当时把我们都吓坏了，直用餐巾纸给它们擦眼泪。

10.8发现她大了不少，故而再留下玉照。为了观察它，我特意在它的叶子的底部点上红点，作为参照。
隔几天又看，它的生长真是日新月异。这是10.19照的。点红点的叶子的上部的茎又长大不少。
原来打算一月照一次相，看来间隔时间还是太长，遂调整为隔几日照一次。

到了20日，样子又有变化
养这种植物不需给与太多的照顾，每个月给点水就行，冬天给水还要少，要不然它要冻死。
我把它放在儿子的窗台上，让它绿绿翠翠的叶，映入儿子的双眼，养养儿子伏案疲劳的双眼。
这一切他会懂么？母亲爱儿的心，不能是溺爱，就像爱这盆麒麟掌，不能给予太多的关心与照顾，不能多浇水。成长还须靠它自己。

我天天看着它，看着它盼着它快快长大。我把爱都熔解在这爱绿的眼睛里，熔解在这爱绿的心窝里，熔解在我一生里。
