近年来在越南、缅甸等地发现的新种。主要产地在越南北部.国内还多定出一种巧花兜兰，理据：1、海伦兜兰为纯黄色，巧花兜兰有枣红色，但在国外的网站上的介绍是说海伦兜兰一般都是带’褐‘色的，只有优秀个体才是纯黄色的；2、海伦兜兰的花瓣是线型、窄线型的，而巧花兜兰的花瓣明显是矩圆型的。个人的意见为其实巧花兜兰就是海伦兜兰，个体差异而已
