<>东湖湖岸曲折，婀娜生姿，其面积是杭州西湖的六倍。碧波万顷、青山环绕、山水交融。园内分为听涛、磨山、落雁、白马、珞洪、吹笛六大景区，主要景点有寓言园、音乐喷泉、行吟阁、长天楼、九女墩、湖光阁、水天一色、曲堤凌波等。从湖边的各个码头上能乘船去湖对面的磨山植物园游玩。</P>
<>东湖磨山梅园是我国梅花研究中心所在地，创建于1956年，占地700多亩，有262个梅花品种，5000株梅树，建立了世界上品种最优最全的“中国梅花品种资源圃”，是梅品种国际登录的重要基地。另有全国唯一的梅文化馆——一枝春馆。</P>
