天竺葵怎样养护？

天竺葵又名洋绣球、石蜡红等，为牛儿苗科多年生草本植物。花期长，除夏季天气炎热时外，从１０月至次年春季４－５月均可开花，花色艳丽而繁多，是很好的盆栽花卉。它性喜温暖气候及肥沃疏松土壤，耐旱怕涝，炎夏高温期生长不良，处于半休眠状态。 盆栽天竺葵，盆土可用腐叶土掺适量砂土及砻糠灰为土，加少量骨粉。每年应换盆一次，更换新的培养土，以利生长开花。换盆宜在８月中旬至９月上旬进行。换盆前要先对植株进行修剪整形，待盆土和剪口干燥后再换盆。换时，适当修去一些较长和过多的须根。每年于４月中、下旬放到室外通风良好的向阳处养护。为使其开花不断，要勤施稀薄的腐熟饼肥水，一般隔１０天施一次为宜。平时浇水不需过多。否则会引起叶片变黄、植株生长不良，不能形成健壮的花蕾。　浇水，一般应在叶尖打蔫时再浇，浇必浇透。６月下旬至８月上旬，气候炎热，天竺葵处于半休眠状态，应停止施肥，控制浇水。高温、阳光直晒和雨后盆内积水，都会影响天竺葵休眠，甚至烂根死亡。因此，休眠期应将其放在背阴的阳台上、窗台上，或庭院避光而不受雨淋的地方。这样做还可以减少休眠时间。　秋季又为天竺葵生长开花的旺盛时期，可结合浇水，追施腐熟的饼肥水数次，以促进开花。花后应及时剪除花梗与老梗与老弱枝，或进行短剪，以促进多分枝。冬季移入室内，室温保持５℃以上，要严格控制浇水，让其充分见光和适当通风，晴天的中午可搬到室外通风见光，这样即可安全过冬。　天竺葵有异味，全株有毛，故虫害很少。
