<DIV align=left><FONT face="Times New Roman">      月季、玫瑰和蔷薇三者是同科同属的姊妹花，形态上有近似之处，因此不少人常将三者混同，把月季、蔷薇统统称为玫瑰，或将玫瑰叫月季。但仔细观察，它们的区别是较明显的。一是枝条不同：月季枝条直立稍扩张，枝上常有少量的钩状皮刺；玫瑰直立，枝上多刺和刚毛；蔷薇茎干细长，枝条蔓生或攀援多刺。二是叶片不同：月季小叶少，一般为3～5片，叶面较平展，不凹陷，无皱纹；玫瑰小叶为5～9片，质地较厚，叶脉凹陷，叶面多皱纹，叶背附有一层白霜似的柔毛；蔷薇小叶较多，一般为7～9片，叶缘有齿，叶两面有柔毛。三是花朵不同：月季一般为顶花单生，也有数朵簇生的，花朵大，花径一般在6cm以上，每年开花4～6次，色彩丰富，多为重瓣；玫瑰花单生或簇生，每年5～8月只开花一次，香气比月季、蔷薇浓，花柄短，花径约3cm左右，花多为紫红色，有单瓣和重瓣种；蔷薇花常6～7朵簇生，呈圆锥状伞房花序，</FONT><FONT face="Times New Roman">生于枝端，花朵大小同玫瑰，花形、花色因品种而异，有红、粉、黄、白等色。每年夏季开花一次。</FONT><br></DIV>
