小红豆

开平市位于广东省珠江三角洲西南部，是全国著名的华侨之乡、建筑之乡和文化艺术之乡。全市总面积1659平方公里，总人口68万，（其有包括我哦）旅居海外的华侨和港澳台同胞75万，遍布世界70多个国家和地区。

                        开平碉楼
开平碉楼源于明朝后期，随着华侨文化的发展而鼎盛于二十世纪初，是融中西建筑艺术于一体的华侨乡土建筑群体，现存1833座，被誉为“华侨文化的典范之作”、“令人震撼的建筑文艺长廊”。
??开平碉楼主要用于放匪，防涝及居住，其建筑风格既有中国传统的硬山顶式、悬山顶式，也有国外不同时期的建筑形式、建筑风格，如希腊式、罗马式、拜占庭式、巴洛克式等等，千姿百态，异彩纷呈。开平碉楼突出了历史文化艺术合科学价值日益被国内外所关注和认同。2001年6月，国务院公布开平碉楼为全国重点文物保护单位。现正向联合国申报为世界文化遗产。
这是其中一座，名为瑞石楼

小红豆

立园，位于开平塘口镇北义乡，坐西向东，占地面积约为11013.99平方米。它是塘口镇旅美华侨谢维立先生于二十世纪20年代回来兴建的，历时十年，民国25年（1936年）初步建成的。
　　立园既有中国园林的韵味，又吸收欧美建筑的西洋情调，将其巧妙地糅合在一起，在中国华侨私人建造的园林中堪称一流，也是中国目前发现较为完整的中西结合的名园。
??立园的布局，大体可分为三部分：别墅区、大花园区、小花园区。三个区用人工河或围墙分隔，又巧妙地用桥亭或通天回廊将三个区连成一体，使人感到园中有园，景中有景，亭台楼榭，布局幽雅，独具匠心，令人有巧夺天工之感。
