Blossom Peacock 中文名称：花孔雀。台湾花友也称：千禧之星。
盼望了许久的花孔雀终于开了，花径达18公分，20个花瓣，还有类似小苍兰的香味（朱顶红有香味的极少），可惜一箭只开了3朵花，还被我搞断了一朵。

已经开了的苹果、花孔雀等就是基地的，还有几种没动静。由于到基地时正值深秋，一些品种不好辨认而且容易搞混，准备4、5月份基地花开了再去选几个品种。

我对朱顶红的认识也是从常见的杂种小花开始的，随着品种收集的增多，感到朱顶红甚至可以称为“球根之王”：花色、花型不比任何球根花卉差，最令人称赞的是：抗性强，易养殖，想让它不开花都不容易；而且是多年生，不易退化，易繁殖，有时增多的简直成累赘。这一特点对家庭玩家来说，是郁金香、风信子等球根类所不能比拟的。
