<>龙岩素品类甚多，是古今素心建兰流传最广的品种，据清代广东著名兰艺家区金策先生在其《岭海兰言》一书中记载，龙岩素分为：矮脚（普通龙岩素）、大叶（也叫阔叶龙岩素）、陈家（即十六罗汉）、蔡家（即龙岩十八开）、周家（即小叶龙岩素）、硬剑（也叫立叶龙岩素）、软剑（即十三太保）、扭剑（也叫扭叶龙岩素）、小花和碧玉杆等。<BR>***一般来说，龙岩素的普通种叶长大概25~55CM、宽1.1~1.8CM左右，叶态弓垂或半弓垂，花莛多能露出叶丛间或高出叶面许多，着花通常为5~7朵，花姿俊俏秀雅，花色乳黄镶绿晕，唇瓣洁白无瑕，略微落肩。<BR>***在龙岩传统品种中，较出名的有龙岩十八开、十六罗汉、十三太保。这些均因莛花朵数的多少而得名。十八开株型矗立，叶端弓垂，叶宽1.2~2.1CM、长50~65CM左右，是龙岩素中的最高大品种，在龙岩有条件的民家，多喜欢种上满满的一大瓷缸置于厅堂，每至秋季，十几甚至几十支碧杆素蕊竞相开放，放眼望去，可说是十分的气派壮观；十六罗汉是龙岩素中花最大、叶幅最宽的一个品种，假鳞茎圆大，叶态直立，叶柄短阔，叶端部有直立的、有半弓垂的、也有弧曲翻扭的，各具情态；十三太保的假鳞茎较小，叶柄较长，为斜立叶态，叶尾呈汤匙状，种上一盆，置于案角，在品茗赏读美文之际，看绿闻香，可也趣味无穷。<BR></P>
