第一次只开了一朵.这一次有五朵
而且现在的颜色变成紫色的.

铁线莲图解保科全书中的“Optional Pruning“是这样写的：
Optional pruning
Nursery catalogues and plant labels often indicate that pruning of a particular clematis may be optional or done as for pruning groups 2 or 3.Examples of such plants are Clematis Carnaby, C.Ernest Markham, C.Huldine, and C.Lady Betty Balfour, which flower on both old and new wood. If these clematis are not pruned or only lightly pruned, they will reward the gardener with early flowers produced from old wood. If, however, they are pruned very hard, the flowering period will be delayed by at least six weeks, and the plants will remain somewhat compact.

任意修剪：
铁线莲苗圃目录和植株标签常常注明某种铁线莲是任意修剪，或者按照第二或第三类修剪方式任意选择。铁线莲“Carnaby”、“Ernest Markham”（东方晨曲）、“Huldine”等就是采取这种修剪方式。这些品种既在上一生长季节的老枝上开花，也会在今年的新枝条上开花。如果这类铁线莲不修剪或者轻微修剪，他们就会在上一个生长季节的老枝条上开花，如果实施重剪，花期将会推迟六周以上，植株也会相对紧凑。
